Web Engine is NOT a "hosting solution", however it is a "hosted solution". Wickerlight Engineering provides hosting to its customers as a courtesy to provide lower cost of ownership and development through Peak 10 Datacenters.

Peak 10 owns and operates more than 100,000 square feet of high performance data center space that is supported by highly skilled technical personnel 24 hours a day, seven days a week. All ten of Peak 10’s tier-one data centers are engineered with multiple levels of security, uninterruptible power, redundant HVAC systems, fire suppression and around-the-clock monitoring and management.

Wickerlight Engineering and its hosting solutions partner AM Gray Systems provides Web Engine hosting at a fraction of the cost of purchasing a dedicated server, database system and required bandwidth.

If you wish to inquire about self-hosting with your own datacenter, contact us to discuss your options. At a minimum self-hosting requires: a Windows Server hosting environment, latest asp.net runtimes, IIS 6, SQL 2005 database. Additional requirements may be required depending on the modules you wish to use.

Domains

You can choose any domain name that you wish for your site. You may even choose multiple domains to point to the same website. For instance: www.website.com and www.mywebsite.com can both be used to access your web engine website. For assistance choosing and setting up your domain, contact us.

Email

Email hosting can be provided for your Web Engine domain. There are two different email hosting solutions:

POP/SMTP

Hosting This is the method that is recommended for most users. It provides a robust webmail site and easy integration with Microsoft Outlook and other email clients.

Exchange Hosting
