Bear with me for a second. This article is only a few lines but it proves an important point.
Sea Turtle Pays Unexpected Visit To Doctor
The point is that you should know who you are blogging to when writing your blogs. I don't always do a great job at that. One minute I am writing about some engineering snip-it and the next I am writing about SEO pointers, but after reading that article I asked myself "How do you turn a barely interesting story into a really annoying story?" Easy…you write something like this:
No doubt, the hospital will get plenty of referrals from their new patient when he is back with his friends -- Michelangelo, Leonardo, Donatello and Raphael.
But it's not that simple. I didn't really like the story to begin with, but the people who like that story like corny references jokes. The author was never going to win me over, but he/she may have won someone else over with that horrible excuse for a closing line.
Long story short --- Another example of undocumented turtles clogging up our health care system.
I didn't come up with it, but I liked that one better...Also note that the scientist in the picture is wearing a Santa suit.
